Where do you stay?

What do you play? How does it compare to Vegas?

Where do you like to eat?

Do you like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun better? Which has the better table games.

Most importantly where do you get your escorts from at Foxwoods?

I have been there a ton of times. It's an awesome casino. Afterall, it's the largest in the world.

I have never stayed there, wondered about the girls myself. It's not like vegas where you will have them coming up to you and saying 'you need some company baby?' or anything like that.

Last couple times I took the Bus and got Bonus Play coupons and a ticket for the buffet. I wasnt complaining.

i go about once a month or so
just started going back to foxwoods after 3 yeaqrs of mohegun exclusively
rooms are nice but pricey at both-definately need to get the casino rate or coupons(or better if you play a lot for a lot)-i got a suite comped at mohegun a couople times and it was really nice-i play bj and ponies when i go
mohegun=no poker
nice restaurants at both of course (foxwoods has fudruckers for hamburgers though!)
a friend of mine just stayed at the best western near mohegun and saved a ton of $-the room included free limo to and from casino (about 5 mins away) whenever they wanted, next time down i may give that a shot
never gotten hos there but a ton advertised in the room phone books
-ive done the bus thing too, much better than driving if a one day sutuation but have to deal with buspeople (another breed of human)

Been to Foxwoods lots of times at all ranges of play.

Any of the rooms are pretty nice so it doesn't matter where you stay a whole lot. But the Grand Pequot Tower is best if you can swing it, and preferably a suite instead of a room. This time of year, the hotels are booked pretty solid there - especially on weekends. So plan ahead if you can unless you have a high betting average (200+/hand). A lot of the surrounding hotels in the area are pretty nice also but they can cost a lot for what you get and fill up just as fast as Foxwoods itself does.

I've mainly played blackjack there. They have 8 deck shoes there on the main floors. 6 deck shoes are in the Newport Room at $50+/hand minimums. For 6 and 8 deck blackjack games these are about the best you will find on the whole East coast. They even have the surrender rule which Atlantic City does not have. You won't find single/double deck games like Vegas has so it's not as good as that. But it's not too bad and the penetration of the shoes is generally pretty deep. They will cut off 2 decks or less from the 8 deck shoes and 1.5 decks or less from the 6 deck shoes. Comps are not anywhere near as good as Vegas - they go by a point system and basically the points you get are (Avg. bet*#hours played)/5.5. Then most comps come from points off your card.

They have added some new restaurants there and generally any place you eat there will be good. Even some of the lower-roller joints like Fuddrucker's hamburgers is good. My favorite of the higher line restaurants is the Cedar's Steak House.

I have spent lots of time at both Foxwoods and Mohegan. From a gambling standpoint, I have felt Foxwoods is a lot better. Their blackjack game has better penetration and dealers/crew are generally friendlier. The casino is also built to have a way more player-friendly feel to it and some parts even have windows with brightness. Mohegan Sun was built as a labrynth for people to walk in the door and lose the entire amount of money that you walk in with and more. Mohegan has a darker, duller feel to most of it and the casino has poor climate control - you are very hot one minute and ice cold the next. They keep the blowers on their tables going big time - they'll say it's to blow smoke away from the dealers but it's really just extra air to help make you lose your mind. Mohegan might have more of an edge in entertainment because of having the big arena but that's about it. So as a gambler, Foxwoods is a clear edge in what I prefer.

As far as escorts, you won't find much action at all right at the place. Once in a while on a slower weeknight, you might find a few women for rent floating around but it's a big exception for anything like that to happen. You'll have to line up something through the phone at one of the escort companies in the CT area. They'll show up but they'll charge a lot for a pretty short/bad experience. If you want some better excitement, value, and a sure thing, take a ride about 45 minutes north to Providence and visit one of the asian massage places.

Hope all of this helps!

I was on vacation in RI last month and took a drive over to Foxwoods.

Of course all I saw was the parking garage because I had my 6 month old daughter with me.

The poker room rocks. The one downstairs you mean? Love it. Although last time, the chic refused to color me out for some reason. So I had to stuff so many 5 and 25 chips in my pocket and go up to the window unloading all these chips out of my pants.

And the steak house on the main floor must have walked by it at least a dozen times, never ate there.

Eat there - it's quality.

Poker room is all in the lower level - tons of tables, rarely more than 10 minute wait to get on 1/2 NL and they host a bunch of tourneys now too.

I fo to the woods alot. I am a $25,$100 slot player, great high end slots, great casino, you need a host and the villas are the place to stay, but can only get if you are a serious player! they do have great one and two bedroom suits. Let not get carried away, when i say great suits, they are not Las Vegas like belligio or Mirage type penthouse, but are very nice. If you are going to play BJ go to the the main casino in Pequat tower and all so stay in there rooms there. Go to the newport room to play bj, best ratings there.,
as for girls, you will need to go to eros and look under boston escorts, some will come to foxwoods, also if you go to the night club at night on weekends, there are working girls in there and some wondering the maine casino floor, if you know what to look for you will find it.but a short 30 min drive to providence, go to the fox lady strip club, and vip for the right price you can score a bj or hj. hope this helps:money8:

Foxy is the worst place to go for extras, but if you're rolling at the $100 slots then I guess you can buy pretty much anybody. Hit Club Fantasies for college type girls, or Cheaters for straight wild brazilian types. At either place you can get anything you want up to full service if that's what you're after.

As one poster put it earlier in the thread, money much better off spent at one of the asian joints. Couple of guys I know are regulars, and say you can get top notch treatment for about $200

Foxwoods is running a promotion for new Wampum Card signups through the end of July I think. They'll refund you 110% of your slot losses up to $300. My wife and I tried our damndest to lose, but ended up both walking out of there up about $200. I get a feeling they can change the outcome of the video slots depending on who's card is in the machine. Ie, they know they're going to have to refund me anyway so they just let me win the first time to increase player satisfaction. Think there's any truth to that?

Foxwoods compared to LV sucks.Crap tables have shitty odds, and they don't give a fuck about you because they are the only place around.
I go there to play poker...the comps suck. I'd rather collect green stamps thantheir wampum points...Buffet sucks too.
Moheghan is opening a new poker room in '08.
