1 Unit plays:

St. Louis Cardinals -110

Why?

Im taking the Cardinals in this spot because of a couple reasons. #1, The Marlins have been terrible at home this year. Posting a 19-27 record is far from impressive. The Cardinals have played well their last 2 games, and are using a starter that has been a lone bright spot in the rotation. The team is 3-0 in his last 3 starts, and 8-2 overall. Throw in that the Cardinals are 7-1 in their last 8 games against the Marlins, and this seems to be a nice spot to lay a little wood on the road.

Toronto +115

Why?

The Blue Jays have hit lefties well all season long to a tune of .297 this year. Add in the fact that Pettitte has struggled to keep runners off base (2.19 WHIP in last 3 starts) and hasnt been able to keep them from crossing the plate. Luckily for the Yankees, Pettitte has been able tofly under the radar with his terrible performances thanks to over 8 runs a game in support. Halladay shouldnt allow this to happen tonight, and I see the Blue Jays taking the middle game of this set.

Looking for a 3rd a final game to add to the list.

Angels O 9 -115

Why?

Starting pitchers in this game are absolute horse-shit. I would love to take a chance on Ervin Santana, but the fact that he has gone 3-14 in his last 17 road starts is just too scary. Sheilds is also too busy running up big pitch counts with the desire of leading the league in Ks. Throw in the fact that the Over is 8-0-1 in the last 9 D-rays game, and it seems very odd that this number is still only at 9. Two starting pitchers that have had a bit of a rough going of it followed up by the 18th and 30th bullpens in the league smells of a double digit game. Unless the aggresive Angels batters refuse to work Sheilds into long at-bats, we should have 3 innings of the D-rays bulpen. Add Santana on the road into the mix and we should have a nice time in this one.

Dodgers O 9 -115

Why?

I hate taking an Over out in Los Angeles at night, but this pitching match-up is simply too irresistable to pass up on. Both teams are on impressive Over streaks, and with the combination of Hendrickson and Drubin taking the mound....I like the chances. Hopefully we will see the ball flying out of the ballpark tonight.

Seattle -1.5 +135

Why?

After an amazing start, Guthrie is starting to show the wear on his arm from all those innings. After spending only a little time in Cleveland the previous 3 years, Guthrie accumulated 105 innings by the All-Star break. His stats fell off going into the break and his velocity dropped up to 2 to 3 mph on all his pitches. Throw in the fact that King Felix is getting it rolling up in Seattle again, and I see the MAriners able to roll over the Orioles in this game. As the Mariners bats have begun to wake up, I hope to see them stake Felix to a lead in the first couple innings that he can hold on to.

Looks like it is a total of 5 games on the card today for 1 unit each.
