A dose of clarity-- Are you up or down for your life as a gambler?

I have definitely lost more then I've made. If you include the times you are stiffed and all that you won or lost, are you up or down in your career as a gambler?

Have to believe most people have lost money when all is said and done.

Its been worth it for me because I don't play to heavy and its worth the enjoyment but I can't say being a gambler has been profitable in the longterm.

Roach, your honesty is pretty. I'm down too though.

I cashed out a lot more than ever in the last 3 years, but that doesnt make up for 10 years of miserable failure.

Getting that one big cash out early on in life, set me down such a bad path.

BJ = blackjack. Those are lifetime numbers. I'm not a big bettor.

In just 6 trips I have been to Vegas I am down over 100k, but would pay another 100k to relive the good times I had on those trips.

The way I look at it is a savings plan that I put away years ago and now that I know what I am doing I am going to pick up the money that I left behind from all those years.:thumbsup:

down on sports gambling
down in vegas (i can only remember 2 trips where I won....out of about 15)

up a little in sports the past year, but nowhere near lifetime even

.....but the degenerate in me still wants action on a daily basis!
