This is what I am thinking on this game, and I wanted to make its own thread because Im sure a lot of people feel no desire to check in on my personal thread due to the fact that I have not been here long, and quite frankly, there is no reason to bother looking at my plays yet.

Im thinking this could be a great spot to jump on the reverse run line and take the Rangers in this game tonight. First of all, the loss of Jason Kendall to this young staff cannot be discussed enough. For numerous pitchers to come out to the media with the importance of this has shown how much he meant to these young pitchers. Dinardo had a nice start in his last outing, and was quoted in the media that Kendall had played a large role in that performance. Now his catcher is gone, and the young man needs to try and pull it together against a very potent Rangers line-up. Texas struggled at time this year with their offense, but has put up 4 or more runs in their last 4 games and has begun to win some games the last couple days. They scored runs on Lackey, Weaver, and Gaudin since the break, and as long as Texeria is in the line-up tonight then they should be fine. I would expect him to play as the Rangers are trying to begin the second half with some momentum.

Millwodd has also be very solid in his last couple outings, and I would expect similar results from him against this very impotent A's line-up. He is a streaky pitcher, and I can imagine him running off 4 or 5 more wins before he throws out a bad start. Oakland is hitting a mere .180 in their last 10 games against RH pitcing. A solid performing Millwood should have a fine time out in Oakland where he will have plenty of space for the flyballs he so frequently gives up. Millwood has gotten hurt at home in giving up homeruns, and this non-powerful As team seems to play straight into his hands.

Oakland hasnt won a game in forever, and getting this depleted team is a nice way for the Rangers to get some momentum. Throw in the fact Chavez has been scratched with a bad back and this team seems even more pathetic. Im taking the Rangers on the reverse run line and I hope you guys take the time to look at this game a little bit.

Good luck.

I know Dinardo is 27ish, but he is still very green in terms of being a starting pitcher on the big league level.
