While Edwin Encarnacion was just up, Braves dude says "The guy the Reds really miss is Aaron Boone"
I thought he was kidding but he was dead serious, wtf this guy smoke today?

yeah i heard that too and was thinking the same thing. I will say theres really nothing else to talk about in this game except Smoltz and Harang.

Turns out the steal keeps this game alive, since Andruw hit it to shallow center, its usually a single with man on second, but man on third outfield is shallow

betting against john smoltz vs the reds was the first mistake. but the braves are definitely tryin to blow it.
how can you bet against all star/hof pitcher against the reds. esp coming off a loss (smoltz is unreal off a loss)

I have no problem betting against a 40 year old pitcher coming off of the DL.

For us Cinci backers, it just seems like the Braves dont want to win, the reds are barely getting guys on base, the Braves always have 2 guys on

40 years old and still hitting 96 on the gun. not to mention the 2.88 era. the dl was completely precautionary. he said he could have started had he need to but with the allstar break figured it was good to take a short rest.
and the reds giving it away? thats what the reds do, they lose for a living.
