Tonight my Wager $ is going to the Humane Society

After reading the Michael Vick allegations I was disgusted like everyone else. People have suggested boycotting Falcons games, the NFL, getting Nike to drop Vick etc. All are good suggestions, but they are not going to do anything for the dogs.

Tonight I'm taking the money I was going to wager and send it to the Humane Society. Its not much, but it is a way to protest what Vick has alledgely done, and help some animals.

Boycott the NFL? It's their fault he brutally killed a bunch of dogs? Huh?

Will you guys let the dust settle on this fucking story. You all are already crucifying people when the indictment story is a day old. Give the related parties some time to take action, fuck.

I am not suggesting anyone boycott the NFL...that would be a little much. I was just mentioning some of the things I had heard today by outraged people.

My post was about doing something positive for an awful situation, whether it turns out Vick was involved or not.

And when the dust settles on this story is it going to change the facts of what happened to the animals....didnt think so.

Always good donating to the Humane Society man. I got a cat there a couple years ago for some reason. Until I realized they're basically big fucking rats, and I had to feed it. So I gave it back. Good thoughts on the donation, more class than most would have bro.

I think it would be very generous of you to donate to the humane society, I'm sure a lot of people feel the same urge as you. I'm just sick already of people demanding others to call up Nike and tell them that if they don't drop Vick from sponsorship they are never buying another Nike product again. The guy is innocent until proven guilty.

I completely agree about the allegations part. I'm sure there is a lot more to this story then is being reported. He'll get his day in court and hopefully it turns out that he wasnt involved.

I guess my point of all this was that some real awful, unnecessary shit happened, regardless of who was involved. I wasnt offering an opinion of what should happen to Vick, that will be handled by the courts and NFL.

Once again, just looking to do something positive out of a shitty situation.
