I have Verizon and am looking to upgrade to a phone that has real-time email, internet browsing(real internet browsing with a toolbar, not the generic web broswer on most verizon phones), and text messaging???

I was looking at either the BlackBerry 8830, or the XV6700 w/ windows mobile

does anyone have any of these phones or have any other suggestions???

thanks

I just purchased a AT&T 8525 and I love it. Real time E-mail,word, excel, power point, internet browsing( with pictures its still fast) and many other bells and whistles. When i went to the Cingular store(now AT&T) I told the guy I wanted the Blackberry and He asked me why. Then told me I'd like the 8525 better.

if you are going to browse the net then blackberry is harder to do that in. I have had both and BB is better for business and the windows phone is better for play.

winning......it would be used for about 75% business(email, internet, and text) and about 25% personal(text and internet).......

i have heard the xv6700 has had some problems though....whats your opinion??

6700 is good for mail/texting, but sucks as a phone and has the worst battery life I have ever seen!!!

do not know much about the 6700 but the blackberry is a very good device. It just does not have browser capabilities as well as the windows unit.

I would go with the blackberry.

Only Sprint has it currently, but it'll be out for VZW shortly.
