The ratings below are based mainly on games I've wagered on that I've actually seen or followed the managers moves over this year and or several years. I'm talking about how he handles the bullpen, his starters, his lineup, playing small ball at the right times, putting guys in scoring position late, etc......Grades are A-F.
A rating of N/A means I havent followed him closely enough to know if his moves or he himself are worth a shit or not.

No you totally missed my point.

looked that list over and realized there aren't many good managers in the game today.

Gardenhire A+ - One star pitcher, good bullpen, but little offense, and he seems to make the most of what he has.

Leyland A+ - Has shown the ability to win wherever he goes, gets the most out of players, is doing a great job managing a shaky bullpen.

Cox A - A little below the aforementioned guys. He drives me crazy at times, but he handles a pitching staff as well as anyone, and seems to pull most of the right strings.

Scoscia A - Similar to Gardenhire, makes the most of a mediocre lineup and seems to always have the right pitcher in the game late.

B - Melvin, Pinella, Hurdle, Yost, Torre, LaRussa

C - Francona, Guillen, Wedge, Gonzalez, Bell, Black, Bochy, Acta

D - Garner, Little, Randolph, Geren, Manuel, Washington

F - Tracy, Maddon, Gibbons

Nice assessments smart ass. Pretty accurate with most in my opinion.

hurdle definitely gets an A from me with the pitching staff he's given. A lot of good youth on that team that's finally gelling together thanks to him.
