I feel horrible for her. She is really a good person i think. I hope that if i ever get that sick i handle it as brave.
It's really sad that AIDS research gets 15 times the amount of what cancer research gets... Tsk, tsk, tsk... Cancer is the true killer in our lives, not AIDS. I don't want to get all political but we lose so many more lives with cancer but why does AIDS research get all the funding? Fuck this BS...

For FY 2006 HIV/AIDS was funded at about $21 billion while the budget for the NCI (National Cancer Institute) was $4.8 billion.
While this is more than a four fold difference the NCI does not account for the totality of US cancer research, nor the fact that only $3 billion of the AIDS budget is research related while the NCI budget is solely for research.

Oh how we quickly forget.. this woman and her husband (she was the brains behind the operation) fleeced thousands of religious leemings out of millions. Their scheme unraveled when the husband, Jim Baker, started banging the secretary.
