really gone? I was referred by a friend but was warned by other forum players to stay away because of the owner, Tej. When I called Royal they informed me that Tej was gone and that SBG Global bought it from him. Is this true? If so is it now safe to play there?

Can you assure us that Tej is completely gone from the operation? A crook like Tej is no idiot. Better for business if we all think hes gone. Know what I mean? Why would SBG want to use a cancerous name like BETROYAL instead of just taking the customers with them to SBG? Believe me, after all Ive read about this place , I wouldnt touch them with a ten foot poll! Im playing at Bet Jamaica and its spectacular!!

Definitely agree! Im just starting a conversation. Like I said, Im stoked at Bet Jamaica. The service is killer! The way I look at it, If Royal didnt pay one player in the past, they should be shunned forever by the community! Good luck w/ the games later.

If the BOS/Kaplan situation taught us anything, it is that you really never truelly know anything about who owns what.

This is so true. All we can do is be smart when it comes to who we play with. With all the good boks out there, why take a chance with places like Royal or Betus or any other book who has refused payoffs in the past. They should never be trusted. Even if and when they decide to let enough time go by in the hopes that we will forget their deeds. Telling us that they have changed management or even owmnership is just a ploy. A desperate move to win us back!

SBG is an advertiser here so they get a lot of positive spin at this site but, to players who have been around for awhile, SBG is as much or more of a cancerous name than Royal.

I have played at Royal for years. I am very disappointed that they are now with SBG.

(Just for the record, I would never recommend either book to anyone. Playing there is one of those high risk/reward propositions. Royal has worked out EXTREMELY well for me over the years but it is a risk that should only be taken with a small portion of the bankroll.)
