I want to enter the Hilton Contest for this upcoming football season. The sign up starts on Monday, July 23. I have a cousin out in Vegas who can submit my picks each week. I dont know all the rules about whether he can go and sign up for me or the day and times the picks need to be submitted by.

Can anyone direct me to a webpage with all the information on the contest?

-Thanks

I don't think there is a website for the contest. I have a copy of the rules from a few years ago and they are the same as the current rules.

How well do you trust your cousin? If he signs up for you, it will be in his name and he does the collection if you win. If you want it in your name, then you have to be there in person to sign up and make him your proxy. He then can put in your picks every week by noon PST Fridays.

Last year the prize money was down from the previous year for the first time due to competition from the Caesers contest that Harrahs started last year. It might rise again this year to get 1st place over the $300,000 mark.

Prizes break down as follows:

1st= 40%
2nd= 16%
3rd= 8%
4th= 5%
5-10th= 3.5%
6th-20th= 1%

Last year there were 415 entries @ $1500 per= $622,500. If you got 500 entries this year the first place prize would be $300,000. Can you trust your cousin picking up that kind of money for you? LOL!

Hilton is 5 games a week, best record wins? $1,500 isn't too bad for an entry fee but only getting 40% of the payout is kindof a bummer. I say screw 6-20th and give the winner 55% atleast.....
