Shortage of time has meant relegating soccer to the back burner for some years now as I'm a firm believer that its a sport where not only do you have to know your sport but also your betting figures. Year in Year out I look for a short cut without success, either the plays themselves are found wanting or I'm beat by the betting margins. I realise all markets are based on opinion but the soccer markets appear to be at critical mass all the time, unlike nearly all other Sports Soccer seems to have no concrete guide lines for instance, 2 games with exactly the same outright prices and goal expectancy can have the correct score prices differ wildly, obviously on opinion but leaving it hard to assess what the market fair offer is.
I have many Friends who know their Soccer and betting inside out but still fail to regularly predict an opening price. Last years shortcut gave reasonable results over the short time I did it but part of it involved laying the Draw at a rock bottom price which became as usual tedious and ended up once again time consuming. Some might say why bother but the markets take enough money to deal and the Season lasts from August to May, so any earner is good one. Once again I've been digging and ironically come across some data that answered why I done my nuts 3 years ago on what looked a reasonable proposition. This data seems to open a window of opportunity this year at not too much effort but I'm not holding my breath on its success in the real world.
Anyone else find Soccer tough? The British forums are full of threads looking for Football el Dorado, all are deadly silent in no time. Good luck to all dipping their expectant Toe in the murky Soccer waters this year.
