Sit down Baroid!

Bush threw a nasty looking 2~2 slider and Bariod went down swinging.

Looks like NC started a thread at the same time as this one. Sorry about that. Makes no difference to me which one we use....but probably makes sense to only have one going at a time.

We're on opposite sides buddy. No problem though.

Lincecum is looking good by the way. Hitting the strike zone already with good consistency. Struck JJ Hardy out on about 4 pitches. Ryan Braun grounded out to second base for a 1-2-3 inning.

Finally some long over-due excitement between these two clubs. Should be an awesome race.

Klesko moved to third on a double by Molina....no outs...setting up to be a 2 run inning? :smoker2:

Shit! Base hit & one run scores. Two consecutive fast ball fouls and a breaking ball single scored Klesko.

Sweet double play....line drive to Fielder and he stepped on the bag.

Alright thats what I like to hear! Cubs are down 1 in the bottom of 9th right now... I hope they can pull it off and win this game! Yeah its nice not having the Cardinals or Astros on top of the division like always

Funny how the landscape can change so much from what we've come to expect year to year.

Lincecum mae the third out. 1~0 bottom of the second. Fielder is due up.

Due Up: P. Fielder (.283, 30 hr, 72 rbi), J. Estrada (.282, 8 hr, 35 rbi), G. Jenkins (.260, 13 hr, 37 rbi)

Man...Lincecum is looking superb. Throwing hard and hitting the strike zone often. Not out of control like he looked the last time these two teams faced each other.

Fielder and Estrada down...Jenkins at bat.

Edit....Jenkins down....1-2-3 inning again.

Due Up: D. Roberts (.244, 1-for-1, single), R. Winn (.294, 0-for-1), R. Durham (.241, 0-for-1, strikeout)

Roberts goes down swinging. 2nd strike out for Bush.

Crowd went nuts when the Cubs game final appeared on the score board.

Edit: 1-2-3 third inning for Bush. Bush has 3 strike outs now.

Another 1-2-3 inning for Lincecum. He has retired 9 of 9 batters so far. Brew Crew has their work cut out for them today.

Due Up: B. Bonds (.281, 0-for-1, strikeout), R. Klesko (.282, 1-for-1, single), B. Molina (.277, 1-for-1, double)

I was thinking of the under but wasn't sure if Bush was gonna show up today. Looks like both pitchers are in the zone.

I was thinking the same thing. Both look good with the exception of the trouble Bush got into at the beginning of the second inning.
