I love the pads tonight because I don't like Moyer. Wells may give up a few but old man Moyer will give up more.

Phillies-Padres: The line is too sketchy to bet on. Padres are the obvious play here having won 13 of their last 16 versus lefties. Also, Moyer has an ERA above 10.00 in his last three starts so why the hell are the Padres at such a good price? Padres have won 4 straight with Wells on the mound, Phillies have lost 4 straight with Moyer on the mound. The line doesn't make sense and thats a red flag...no play.

Indians-Rangers: Another no play in my books because Cliff Lee can't pitch for shit on the road but he has had success against the AL West in his career (winning 16 of the last 23 against them). However, Michael Young is back for the Rangers and Jamey Wright has pitched too well to be ignored. Can't trust either of these struggling teams.

GL, there are better games out there.

Flava's analysis...is correct...Stay away from the Padres tonight...Padres should not be favored at such a cheap price...especially the way Moyer has shit the bed lately...

Flava,

What do you think about the Phillies on Sunday at +220?

I realize Peavy is a stud but the Padres offense is horseshit and the Phillies offense is on a roll

+220 is a great value pick dont u think?

Peavy is almost always worth these odds or so most people think. The Pads are 2-3 this season when Peavy is -200 or more so I don't trust those clowns one bit. Having said that, Peavy has been one of the best 'Streak Buster' starting pitchers in MLB this season and what I mean by that is that the Padres are 9-1 when Peavy starts and the team is coming off a loss. Historically though the NL East have given Peavy nightmares so the Phillies have a great shot..but like I just said, Peavy has been notoriously good when it comes to getting a win when the teams most needs it and when people are thinking of fading. Best example of that is the wagerline people are pretty much split right now. Had it not been for Peavy's record when the team is coming off a loss, I would say take the Phillies for a pretty damn big amount but seeing how has been so good in this spot, im staying away. Just can't be on San Diego knowing that in Peavy's last three starts, they have given him only 1.7 runs of run support per start. Thats horrendous. Value on Phillies but not worth it imo with Peavy on the mound capable of winning 1-0 (Padres have won 1-0 five times this season...WOW). GL dude.
