The Reds have won 9 out of Harang's last 10 starts (9-1)

Meanwhile the Brewers have lost 10 straight games Chris Capuano has started. (0-10)...9 of those 10 by more than one run (-1.5)

Capuano 2-4 on the road 6.40 ERA
Harang 5-1 at home 3.32 ERA

As good as Milwaukee has been this year (36-17 at home) they are not a good road team (19-26)

Divisions best team vs divisions worst team but this trend is too much to not take into consideration...

18 times in a row Harang and Capuano have had the exact same result, a Reds win and a Brewers loss.

As a dog Milwaukee is 10-21
As a fav Cincy is 16-20

Journey great heads up but you have to sit and wonder "WHY" are they only -120? Wrong line, maybe, maybe not.

I don't think then line is really wrong, just hard to pass up on that trend...we're talking 18 straight....of course if it loses everyone will say I jinxed it.

That is a trend that merits attention. Many will follow you on this one. Me, I believe the line is correct, plus in his last 3 starts Capuano is 0-1 with a 10.03 ERA. Watch out.

As God as my witness, much to my shock and surprise my bookie has opened this line for me at -135, when no other book in the world has it at past -120.

too funny.

Be very careful with the Reds here. Milwaukee overall is still a very good team and although Chris Capuano has struggled, the Brewers have won 5 of their last 6 when he starts against the NL Central. Also, the Reds have won only 3 of their last 10 at home against lefties and that just not worth it for me.

GL man, hope you cash.

In almost ANY game you can find stats both ways...knowing which ones matter are what matters...

Harang has been a very good pitcher who goes deep in games , the main reasons the Reds lose so many games is their bullpen is awful! Harang usually pitches very deep that is why they win with him and basically no other Reds starters.

I realize you were posting a strong trend man, never thought you were backing the reds...I don't really take trends into consideration

It is hard to argue with 18 times in a row stats. Good stuff Jman. You have me sold. Reds should be a bigger fav than -120. -116 is available also.

lol, journey, you could say you like the West Sydney Kangarettes in second division Australian womens volleyball, youd get at least 4 people say either "be careful" or "the Canberra Koala Warriors are the sharp side, not WSK"......

I actually like Mil in this game, i mean the Reds are offensively challenged IMO, and if Griff or Dunn dont homer they usually do nothing, i Know Phillips has a bunch of homers, but he is still Brandon Phillips

whats wrong with having an objective opinion or throwing in other possibilities? isnt that the point of a sports gambling message/discussion board? If not, I guess the point is to just all agree and say 'I agree' no matter what our thoughts might be? I don't get it...

absolutely nothing, but you have to agree that my comment stands as well, not targeting your post, but any time somene has liked something on this forum, like jay points out this scenarios, the 4 people come in, regardless of what the pick is. It is after all gambling.

Jay understands exactly why I posted what I did, when you've been around long enough you realize there will always be those 4...
