I was thinking--that if Vegas political power structure was behind the Tennessee Senator Frist and the late night "add-on" bill-that was a no vote (Well actuall 100% approved and 100% assurred); would those same powers (monetary wise from Nevada) also be pushing hard to convict local bookies?
I understand we are are talking different types of political payoffs. Federal -Local level; which makes it an endless puzzle. But does anyone besides me--think that some big local bets get "laid-off" in Nevada? Or is that some type of old pipe dream?
If Nevada actually wanted to compete with offshore internet--they have a strange way of showing it.

Vegas doesn't give a damn about the sportsbetting going on offshore.

They care about the fat lazy bastards that sit in front of a PC losing at casino games.

Sportsbooks are in land casino's because they have to be not because they want them to be.
