It is official: In america you are now guilty before proven innocent.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Michael Vick was ordered by commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday to stay away from the Atlanta Falcons' training camp until the league reviews the dogfighting charges against him.
"While it is for the criminal justice system to determine your guilt or innocence, it is my responsibility as commissioner of the National Football League to determine whether your conduct, even if not criminal, nonetheless violated league policies, including the Personal Conduct Policy," Goodell said in a letter to the quarterback.
The NFL said Vick would still get his preseason pay and Goodell told the Falcons to withhold any disciplinary action of their own until the league's review was completed.

I don't see a problem. Your employer has a right to do what they want. He's still getting paid.

were you just born this week? Hate to break this news flash to you the way the system works now is you are guilty until proven innocent.
If you need to see the results of a court case to know this guy is guilty then you must be living life with blinders on.
Vicks name is all over be associated with pitbulls.

Also the nfl tells its players not to do anything that would cause them to get into legal trouble, like getting friggin indicted.
Glad to see them ban this jerkoff, hope he goes broke from having to pay all those high priced lawyers hes gonna need. Hes never gonna get another endorsement deal even if not found guilty.
The guy is complete trash.

Indictment is not guilt even if the evidence shows something the guy is not guilty until the case comes down.

I wonder what would happen if I let one my employees go if they get a DUI or something.

Until you are the owner of a business then you have nothing to tell me.

Very interesting.

Sure you can, it would effect the way of him/her getting to work. You have the right to do it if you so choose. Hell here in Michigan you can fire people if they don't stop smoking.

I am so despondant, that I got caught. I would like to show my feelings to the fans, dog lovers and the NFL.

Picking on him? Yea, all of the criticism is unjustified and unwarranted. How about criminal, that seems to fit.

Must have been fan appreciation day. If he thinks it was bad when he was just stinkin it up, wait til he takes the field now. Of course after the feds, state and peta are done with him.

Exactly!!

Glad to see that the Comish took the steps to stop the circus that would happen if Vick were allowed to play or practice.

:think2:

I own my own business and if one of my employees was INDICTED on a charge that I had deemed unacceptable in my employee handbook then they would be SUSPENDED just like Vick is. Federal charges are more than likely to stick than state charges thats why the Feds moved in so quick. Also they must have a few witnesses that have placed Vick with such detail that its gonna be hard to not get convicted...JMO
