Why the steam against Zambrano vs Wells (wells: 17 starts, Stl lost 14!)? The "smart" money HAS to be on STL. Is Zambrano healthy?

I never can seem to figure those things out. There was steam on Toronto last night against Minnesota with Santana pitching for Twins so I figure I would fade the steam. It turns out that Toronto always does well against Santana and it ended up being a losing bet.

Hard to tell for or against steam. That's why I usually fade the gradual steam instead of late steam.

hey Old School and Quantmum

do you guys think late action on an o/u or a side is a good things for that play the action is going on, or a bad thing?? this is something that I jsut started studying on a daily basis

I've seen it be either good or bad. Late line movement, at least in my experience, has never told me who will end up winning.

so do you use line movement either in favor of the dog side or not into consideration when your capping?

I fade steam if it is gradual throughout the day. That way I get a favorably increasing line.

Yes, I follow at times on totals. I had Col under 9 1/2 today (it opened at 10).
