Hey I'm taking a Lady friend to Vegas next week. It's going to be our first time there. We want to hits some night clubs but don't really want to waste our time with top 40, Hip-hop (her choice not mine) or Rock clubs.

What clubs and what nights are playing Deep or Garage House, Reggae or Soca Music.

Whats the Cover? Line up situations? On the strip? Downtown?

Thanks

KB...all the clubs are basically mash-up now, I can't even think of a club that is strictly house....you might find it in an ultralounge...check out reviews for Tabu at MGM. Vegas clubs are catering to the lowest common denominator these days.

Thanks how was the Venetian?

It was a blast, they put us all on the same floor so there was plenty of porn and nudity in the 21st floor hallway. If you stay at Venetian they (the front desk) will set you up with a table reservation at Tao (dinner or nightclub), and will also set you up at Tao Beach if you are so inclined. That was nice. Venetian isn't the "hippest" crowd...definitely mixed, but no different than Mandalay Bay, Caesar's, MGM, etc. Never made it to Rehab on Sunday...we were toxic at that point.

All the clubs are virtually the same in that they are the see and be seen crowd, overpriced drinks, and forced tables for megabucks in order to be away from the herd.
The latest to hit the market will be LAX at Luxor, effectively replacing Ra.

I'd much rather hit a local bar or strip club than these meat markets. But to each his own.

Covers can be steep. I bought a ton of passes on ebay for trip with the wife and we had a blast. Probably hit 12 clubs in 3 nights, we had blast. She had fun that's priority #1.

Thanks, WC gave me a list of Industry nights, I'm sure we'll hit those up meet some locals and go from there.

We're going to strip bars one night, she's buying me some lap dances. Suggestions?

Don't know the strip clubs too well as lots have come on the scene from when I was in my prime years.
Cheetah's and Spearmint Rhino were always two personal faves.

There is also a free happy hour every Monday-Friday around town, often at a Strip resort.

She doesn't like hip hop???

Dumped!

(kidding.)

I'm easing her into it with some Common, Mos Def and Talib, she's an Island girl so I hear a lot of Reggae and Soca. We we're torn between Vegas and the T-Dot for Caribana.
