1. remembers actually watching the Braves on TBS almost everyday back in the 80's or early 90's? That was back when ESPN didnt show too many baseball games per week. I know that back then I was watching the Astros road games on TV, but I am not sure that the home games were on TV. The Astros were my favorite team, but naturally the Braves were my second favorite. Watching the game tonight on TV reminded me of this time in my life

2. Does anyone remember in the late 80's or early 90's checking CNN late night or CNN HEADLINE NEWS (whatever it was called) after 7pm est for all of the nights scores? I used to be glued to that channel back then. I can remember having 2 TV's right next to each other just so I could check the scores for baseball and basketball scores nightly. Also who remembers the nightly sports show on CNN? I used to catch that show and ESPN on both TV's. Of course that was wayyyyy before internet or sports pagers. But I used to waste so much time checking scores at that time. I am glad that I dont have to watch every bet anymore!

3. Also, who can remember the Atlanta Braves totals of the late 80's and early 90's at home? They used to be NO MORE than 6.5 and most of them were even 6. I can remember a few Maddux starts with over/under of 5.5 and you STILL bet them under! The Braves just couldnt score at that time. Smoltz had some low totals of 5.5 as well. I dont think that I can remember any totals of 5 runs, but they were probably at that total.

Those were the days! I can remember when I was betting baseball in the late 80's and the ONLY written information that I had was the boxscores and the typical USA TODAY last 3 starts information on each pitcher! Boy have things changed in the past 10 years!
