So what difference does it make (transported across state lines) if the dog fighting took place in Va.?
crossing state lines makes it a federal matter as opposed to a state matter.
E.g, if you have a brick of weed in your car and cross state lines, it now is a federal offense as opposed to simply a state matter.
I don't think it is, but may be wrong. But the wording gets confusing when articles say transported across state lines for fighting.
