I think Texiera is going everywhere.....Hes a Scott Boras guy....he's going to go to the highest bidder, and he wont sign until the offseason....he's going to weigh all his options.....I cant imagine him in Baltimore....that franchise is in dissary.....Girardi didnt even wanna manage there....they will be selling before they start buying.......the Atlanta deal seems pretty good, and would be good for Texas, since they probably wont resign Texiera.......living here in Detroit, I was kind of hoping we would try and sign him in the off season......I think he would fit perfectly here....he'd look great batting between Sheffield and Mags.....but I dont think we would trade for him this year....Casey is just fine......he's definately the biggest name out there right now though!
You may be right Prodigy.....its just that usually Scott Boras clients dont take cheap deals.....maybe he's the exception....I do agree he's a rental for the rest of the year if someone trades for him.....I just dont think he will end up signing with Baltimore....unless they pay him the most....but I guess we'll just see in the off season......
