welcome back to the 70 unit club... you won a ton of units this week. now get your ass in gear and hit that 80 unit mark pronto!!!

great job this week. keep up the good capping. i have to say, the last month or so, when you had your bad run, i was realling disliking your picks. thought that you weren't capping games well. and now i am liking the games you are picking. you started picking teams who are winning and not trying to bet on losing teams that might break a losing streak. you know what i'm talking about? anyhow... you're doing well.

To answer your question man the bats have gone to hell since the break. Where everyone outside of Richie 'the bum' Sexson was hitting .270+ Ibanez, Lopez, Johjima have all gone spiraling into hell. The starting pitching isn't even going that bad, we just can't hit the ball right now. Figured this would happen at some point, just not losing 6 in a row to the Jays/Rangers. Big 4 game series with the A's starting tomorrow night. 3 of 4 would be sweet.

JJ is still the best closer in the game right now. Sucks he blew it, but the man is still a beast.

Your Cubs are playing solid ball right now. Enjoy Lou while you have him in the dugout. We all miss him here.

Yeah I wasnt sure about the Lou signing at first to tell you the truth. I was wanting Girardi, but wow he has really impressed me. He loves to use the whole roster and tinker around with different lineups. He keeps everyone fresh and he has been doing a great job for us. Havent been this excited about the cubs since 03 and we all know what happened that year... I just hope they can continue bc Milwaukee is tough, but I honestly feel like the Cubs are the better team. We will just have to wait and see though. I am interested in the trade deadline we could use a right handed bat with some pop to play right field as Floyd has had a hard time staying on the field and Jacque Jones cant hit lefties for shit. I am pulling for your mariners hopefullythey can get hot again

I'm praying to the good Lord that this losing streak wakes Bavasi up and has him active at the deadline. We need to somehow dump Sexson's ass (won't happen, wishful thinking anyway) and get a true cleanup guy. Starting pitcher would be nice, but everyone needs that these days.

Can we get a Cubs-Mariners World Series here? Cmon...

HAHA, ya i dont see anyone wanting Sexson unless the Mariners eat a lot of his salary and that wont happen. You guys are stuck with that worthless giant. A cubs/Mariners world series would be awesome! No offense but id much rather see seattle than Detroit,Boston,Cleveland,Angels, but I would put Seattle in the next class after those teams. They just need to get hot and they can do it. Like i said im pullin for them and would like them to make the post season

What the hell you talking about. Righthanded bat with pop?

We need a lefty.Maybe you are getting confused with your winning and the Cubs winning.... Bring on Griffey JR!!!

Well we really dont need anything too bad but we have been struggling vs lefty pitchers for some reason. Of course the past month and a half or whatever it is they have been doing a lot better overall so its not a big deal right now. Basically im worried Floyd is too injury prone and will have a hard time staying on the field and we will have to settle on Pagan who I like but he isnt an everyday outfielder. Lets just hope Floyd can stay healthy. Griffey would be nice but no way Hendry will take on that contract id be surprised. Lets SWEEP the Cards!

Yes, let's get that BOS game. But I had a change of heart on LAD and actually took the +1.5 COL. Gut feeling I guess, and have to trust my gut. My mind says don't go against Penny....but......
