At any Walmart, you can send an receive moneygrams. Of course, then you have to actually deal with PEOPLE WHO SHOP AT WALMART!! Who are these people?
In Texas, other stores who send moneygrams are not shady places. Usually only the MAJOR check cashing places use moneygram.
I was suprised by the shit stores near Detroit where I had to go to send a moneygram. Walmart was a lot further, but I was able to choose from 8 or 9 liquor stores. Those places were a bit scarry.
I actually sent one Western Union from Michigan and found that the closest location was a gas station. So I go there to sendd and fill out the forms and give it to the cashier. I was then waiting for him to punch in the information into a computer. Well as lucky would have it, this guy had to call WU to send the money. He was put on hold for over 10 before he spent another 10 minutes telling someone the information. I have never seen shit like that before. I have never been to a store for Western Union or Moneygram where the store didnt have the computer access to send the cash
