Stupid ump...why would a kid making his first career start throw at back to back hitters with a lead?

That's so messed up!!

The weird thing is this kid usually doesn't walk many people from what I've read.
Also is more of a finesse pitcher.

What a way for Manny to get ejected for the first time

He had Utley 0-2, plunked him with one out, then all hell broke loose..obviously there was no intent.

The Philies announcers think its was due to the possiblity of injuries. Can't have a guy learning how to pitch up here beanning the top stars on the Phillies.

:aktion033 funny how Washington announcers are beside themselves over it...I don't think it warranted an ejection personally .

This really dicks the Nats too because we went through every relief pitcher we had except Schroder during last night's game!

This game is obviously fixed.

I would love for the Philies to get Ray King for almost nothing and move Myers back to starting.

Chris Wheeler actually thought it was ridiculous to throw him out. It was Gary Matthews that used the crazy logic that he needed to be thrown out because the big leagues wasn't the place to learn how to pitch. Hunter Wendlestadt totally overreacted since Howard had homered the time before.

The ump flipped a coin. Heads no ejection, tails = ejection. Same system a lot of umps use on stolen base attempts. Heads=your out, Tails=safe.
