. And Cleve and Detroit have solid teams.
Tom Brady,Cleveland had some big time problems right now and thats starting pitching.Other than CC and Carmona pitching lights out this year the other 3 starters are some concerns to me.Paul Byrd is up in years right now and I think he might run out of gas come mid August but I will wait and see.Cliff Lee cant get anybody out these days and would not be shocked if he is sent to the minors or involved in a trade by the trade deadline.Jake Westbrook is not 100% in my opinion since he got hurt earlier in the season and I think the Indians were fools to pay him the big money he got and should have spent it on CC instead and that move will bite them in the ass in the long run.The Bullpen has some major question marks also other than Betancourt and Borowski who has his moments but is near the top in saves in the AL.The Indians also can use a big time bat but I think they wont be getting one but sure would be nice to have one.Ok Im done venting my frustrations out now but something is telling me the Indians are going to fade come mid August unless the get some help for this team so I hope that Shapiro makes a deal and Dolan opens his checkbook or this town will be talking Browns real soon.
Big out. I thought the same thing. Never easy. Gabbard really got jinxed by SMith. He didn't even make the 5 innings. LOL. Need this win.
Gravy, pretty cool to see a Cle fan post thoughts.
Sizemore, the guy is NO JOKE.
So true. It's really not even that hard to put together a capable team that will play hard and hit well for you.You summed it up. The thing is though that CC and Carmona are unreal right now. That is a fantastic duo and you go from there. Cleveland needs 1 more quality starter to really help the staff. You have a good team with a closer getting it done and two aces at the top of the staff....most teams would kill for that. What happened to Lee? he is getting wacked. That hurts for the indians....

Cliff Lee got hurt before the year started and pull his quad muscle just like Westbrook. The icing on the cake was last Saturday night in Texas when Lee hit Sammy Sosa in the head and Victor Martinez didnt care for that and Lee and him got in to disagreement on the mound and than carries into the dugout after the inning was over and almost got into a fight. This team might be divided right now its hard to say but hey just dont look like they have there swagger like they used to have but when the RedSox come into town and might take 3 out of 4 from you at home you might want to think about that when the Redsox are the favorites in the AL.
Yeah, but lets not kid ourselves here. We could have easily won the 1-0 game yesterday too. If crisp ran hard and slid on that play, it would be 1-1. And then Carmona has been worked enough and were playing the BP with a tie game. The Sox announcers were just talking about that. That should not happen in front of the fans and teams. Hard to say what impact that has but it is funny...if Cleve plays well that will be forgotten. If you guys start losing everyone will point to that. That is the way it goes. You could have easily won that 1-0 game two days ago and it would be a diff series.

Never the less, happy to see my boyfriend pitch well.

Naw dont be sorry, the thread is related to Cleveland. Is it not?Yes i would have loved to split with the Redsox and would have been thrilled with that.Just to let you know after this homestand with the Redsox,Twins and Rangers the Indians play 34 out of the next 45 games on the road and thats what will makes us or brake us for the season.
