10-4, 3.05 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, .213 BAA, 141 2/3 IP, 43 BB, 175 K
11.12 K9, 4.07K/BB

VORP and WAP has Bedard ranked as such.

Erik Bedard is the best left-handed starter in the majors.

- opponents hit .250 off Hamels and only .213 off Bedard.

- Hamels gets 5.4 runs of run support per game, Bedard gets only 4.23

I still think Oliver Perez is having an oustanding season with the Mets too but he's a bonehead.

Might even be the best pitcher in baseball this year. And thats with an April ERA of close to 7.

Bedard has been incredible this season. Too bad the O's suck, or he'd get his due.
