I wanted to check in on it on TV. AROD is going for his 500th homerun today.

But here is something that you didnt know. If he hits the homerun today in the suspended game, then that WILL NOT be his 500th homerun. By rule, since this is a suspended game, then all stats revert back to the original day, thus making a homerun hit today in the opener, his 493rd homerun.

But I still wanted to watch the game since my golf game got rained out today! It is going to rain all weekend here in Texas.

I cant find it anywhere and its starting to piss me off. Game 2 still says it is starting at 7:05. My guess it the suspended game will in fact start at 7:05, but again i cant find a thing to back up this guess.

especially being that the 500th homer wasnt caught by a fan in KC. any idea where that potential 500th homer ended up?

So if he hits a home run today, in actuality his previous one was his 500th?

That is probably right terps. It wouldnt take too long to play 1.5 innings. Well unless that goes into extra innings. Both teams have used 4 pitchers so far.

Interesting fact is that Chris Ray pitched the 1/3 of an inning to end the top of the 8th, but now he is on the disabled list. So therefore, his replacement should not be allowed to play in the game if said replacement isnt the first pitcher to pitch for Baltimore. Another oddity is that Freddie Bynam came into this game as a pinch runner before being lifted later. Well he is now on the disabled list. I hope that his replacement on the team doesnt get to get into the game.

Lastly, Melvin Mora was still in the game but is now on the disabled list. talk about a cluster fuck

The game picks up at 7. It's the top of the 8th, Jeter on 2nd, 2 outs, Matsui up.

Interesting theory, however his 500th home run ball is going to be pocket change compared to his 800th in another 8 or 9 years.

The game is not action if you bet on it in June. I did bet on this game and it was just refunded.
