There are many different places that are good and bad in Phoenix. I actually am a Realtor in the Phoenix area. If you email me at orangerolo@yahoo.com I can e-mail you some properties that fit what price range you are for. You will love it here and what a great time to buy, in a buyers market.

The East Valley is definitely where you want to live, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale etc. Lots more culture and generally better places to eat and better cultured people IMO. I used to live in Tempe since it was close to ASU and I could take in events sponsored by the University.

Don't live in southwest or south Phoenix. Lots of crime in those areas. Northwest Phoenix isn't too bad but generally people with lower incomes live there. I also used to live in North Phoenix and that wasn't bad.

The heat isn't too bad if you aren't out in the afternoon during the summer. Your vehicle will cool down in 5 minutes or so driving home so that isn't bad. Mornings are very nice in summer and evenings after the sun goes down are bearable as well. I used to walk every night after 9pm and was always comfortable.

lots of hot dumb bitches at ASU

Take a drive on University Avenue between Mill Avenue and Rural Avenue during lunchtime when school is in session and you will see more ass in short shorts. Careful to keep your eye on the road when driving though.

Contact Insiders when you get there. Maybe he can get you hooked up with some of his locals, unless he has already stiffed them.

had some good times on Mill Ave. - if I could do it all over again, I would enroll at ASU in a heartbeat

Scorpions all over the place. All of the people I know that have lived there for a long time have been stung.

The wealthiest zip code in the Phoenix area is in Glendale, a NW Valley suburb.

I live in North Scottsdale, but work in Peoria and there are great places all over the valley. If you are younger then you will definitely want to be in the Scottsdale, Tempe area. Plenty to do and see, plus great clubs, bars, and restaurants.

Lots of decent value in real estate, right now. Good luck, you will like it out here.

Wealthiest zip code Glendale??????. Would think the wealthiest areas are in Paradise valley, North Scottsdale or towards the Pinnalce peak area. As for the scorpions saw only 1 in the 20 plus years I lived there and that was in Sedona (100 plus miles north of Phoenix).

I know they have some nice new neighborhoods north of the 101 and west of I-17. I forgot about those.

I live down in the Ocotillo area of Chandler. Near the likes of a lot of Cardinals players. Loving it down here. Close to everything.
