Then they walk Bonds 3 times. A Rod has played in small hitters parks with lots of protection in the batting order. Bonds plays in a horrible park with no protection in the order.

I got news for ya, A-Rod could be playing in the Grand Canyon and still go deep.
Very rarely does A-Rod hit a cheapie.

Now 4 walks! Bonds is the best player since Mays.
But Mays he ain't.
Sorry assed DOPER.:puke1:

McGwire, Sosa....can't hold candle to the GENUINE old-time players. Mays, McCovey, Mantle, Maris. M's the word.
Before millions of billion $ contracts, horse pills & bull shit.

Please get it over with Barnard & let's return to the game as we used to know it. (Not likely...in this lifetime)

Anybody lame or dumb enuf to pay ALL that for this clown's "record breaking" homer is pathetic.
Wouldn't give face value for the ball (unless i HAD to keep it! :missingte)

Somebody'll get wet & rich in the Bay Area. Or maybe they'll piss in SF cornflakes & walk him rest of season.
Now THAT would be funny as hell.

And that's how i really feel.

In Aaron's time the use of speed was as common as steroids are now. I see pitchers simply groove strikes to A Rod, time after time. Bonds rarely sees good pitches.

A Rod plays in smaller parks?

AT&T Ballpark: Barry Bonds Yankee Stadium: A Rod
Left....339 Left....318
Center....399 Center....408
Right.... 309 Right....314

Three Rivers Stadium Arlington Stadium
Left....332
Couldn't find Center....400
Right....325

Safeco Field
Left....331
Center....405
Right....327

Hardly Smaller. Just admit your a Bonds Fan.

Well I screwed that up. The ballparks are all relatively the same. Actually AROD has played in slightly larger parks. I have no argument for the protection issue. They are both great players but Barry has obviously not done what it takes to win the public or the media over. Steroids is another issue in which I know nothing about but there is usually smoke where there is fire.

You forgot the 30 foot wall in right! NYY's "fence" is 3 feet! Right center is 421 in SF. Plus the ball doesn't carry. When Bonds hit 73, the park was rated as the WORST one to hit HRs in.
