Flying question relating to alcohol

Was is most airlines policies for bring your own liquor on flights. Id most likely switch it over to a water bottle so i am not pulling out a big bottle to be seen but what would happen if a flight attendent noticed it? do i even need to switch it out of the original bottle. id feel like i was 16 again.

all alcohol must be served by a flight attendant, this is Federal Regulation
