And it appears Chris Capuano has shaken off the rust with a couple nice outings.

Milwaukee has lost 11 straight Capuano starts (0-11) , today's mound opponent in the 2nd game of a day/night DH is Anthony Reyes (0-10) In Reyes' last 25 innings pitched he's given up 24 ER....

Reyes doesn't have a lot of head to head stats vs Milwaukee but has pitched decent in those matchups , expect a couple big fly's today, he's given up a HR every 15 AB to MIL.

Fielder 2/8 (1 HR)
Graffanino 1/10
Counsell 0/2
Bill Hall 3/12 (1 HR)
Hardy 1/3
Jenkins 4/12 (3 HR)
Miller 1/6
Hart 2/6
Key players combined 14/59 (4 HR)

Capuano's last 27 IP he's given up 16, but has pitched real well his last 2 starts... 1 HR every 23 AB STL vs Capuano

Edmonds 0/6
Encarnacion 7/18 (2 HR)
Puhols 13/22 (3 HR)
Rolen 2/20 (1 HR)
Taguchi 6/29
Eckstein 5/15
Duncan 2/5
Molina 2/10
Miles 3/14

Key's combined 40/139 (6 HR)

Having said all this I don't see any real edge, slight edge MIL... MIL swung the bats real well in last night's game, and has beaten up on STL recently.

Maybe Royalfan can find a key head to head ,matchup today in this mess!

Just a hunch for me but if Mil loses game one, I think they come back and get the second game, Capuano may be coming out of it, he was hurt too....If they win gm 1, I will probably pass ... I would play MIL if this was gm 1 of the DH.
