I always check the rules and prices before the upcoming football season because books like to quietly change prices. They only tell you or advertise it when they lower them. While I use up to 5 books to shop lines I always kept Intertops funded because occasionally I would find good value there.

Intertops quietly changed to the following generic pricing on 2 team teasers:

6 points @ -110
6' points @ -120
7 points @ -130.

That flat out sucks.

I will quote their response to me: " We
can assure you that these new odds are in line with other industry leaders."

I hope more books don't reverse their pricing on teasers and don't get started with the teasers are for suckers because I say that people that say teasers are for suckers are idiots.

5dimes will continue to be my main football out.

intertops is a pioneer in the industry, its a shame they changed their teaser odds, however, I am sure they are only doing what they have to in order to remain viable during these tougher times.

I can't remember ever seeing them advertize on the web.

Anybody offering 2 team 6 pointers at even money this season? Seems many have upped their juice last year.

Ties reduce, even on a 2 team teaser. They have adjusted odds for 1 team. I guess they got tired of people losing 1 leg and then tying the second leg (which I have done many times)<TABLE cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=4 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=value>1-Team Teaser</TD><TD class=value> 6 point-2/5 (1.4)</TD><TD class=value>6' point-37/100 (1.37)</TD><TD class=value>7 point-7/20 (1.35)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Same for ties on 10 point teasers which although they are offered at -120 is actually good because ties usually lose on these:

<TABLE cellSpacing=2 cellPadding=4 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=key>3-Team 10 Points</TD><TD class=key>Football</TD><TD class=key>Sweetheart</TD><TD class=value>5/6 (1.83)</TD></TR><TR><TD class=key>2-Team 10 Points</TD><TD class=key>Football</TD><TD class=key>Sweetheart</TD><TD class=value>1/2 (1.5)</TD></TR><TR><TD class=key>1-Team 10 Points</TD><TD class=key>Football</TD><TD class=key>Sweetheart</TD><TD class=value>2/9 (1.22)</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

I will playing most of my teasers with 5 dimes.

Dont waste your time with 5 dimes. Although the prices are good, they shade the lines away from the side you will want, trust me.

You are absolutely right about 5dimes shading the spreads to affect the teasers.
