What's the best hotel to stay at in Vegas for a younger crowd 23-27 years old, loud energetic atmosphere, late night parties, etc.

If everyone coudl please offer input it would be appreciated.

I'm looking for something halfway affordable, not necessarily on a budget, but just dont want to blow all of my money on a hotel room that I will be sleeping in passed out intoxicated.

the only problem with the Palms/Rio etc is that its pretty far off the strip right?

I guess, let me tweak my 1st post.

Looking for a good atmosphere that is somewhere near the heart of the strip, so in case I forget something in my hotel room, I dont have to drop a half hour and taxi money to go back.

Does my request even exist?

I usually have a rented car when in LV, but pretty sure Palms has a strip shuttle service.

Once you see the atmosphere at Palms, you probably wont want or need to go over to strip except to say youve been there.

Hard Rock also isnt walking distance from strip. A nice hotel with plenty of nightlife action, but it doesnt match Palms.

for on the strip I would say Mandalay Bay is somewhat young. But Hard rock is a little more trendy.

they have a Playboy Club at the Palms and lots of Playboy events

they recently had a bunny talent search competition at the pool. if you happen to catch the place on some weekend when there is a playboy event, you will not believe your fucking eyes walking around the casino at night

heard ceasars has a topless area at the pool, private however.

The Wynn has "european style" pool, which is basically a topless pool. Its not private, but only a couple of women actually go topless and alot of the time it sthe wrong couple of women.

boxslayer...i know what your looking for, and other than the Palms your probably not gonna get it......Hard Rock is a sausage fest and everyone here knows it.....Rio can be good...but its right across the street from the Palms and if your gonna go offstrip then u'd like Palms better......BTW any hotel with a good club will be somewhat hopin...(cesaers, MGM, TI, Manday Bay)....

Box,

Funny thing about the Palms, they have the loosest slots in town and they bus in seniors during the day, so don't be surprised if you check in and see a few hundred grammas owning the slots. They are usually gone by 5 PM and the young crowd starts to filter after that. Rain has basically died because of Moon/Playboy club, so do not plan on going to Rain. Ghostbar ain't what it was either but still gets a decent crowd.

I find Hard Rock to be swamped with dudes, especially circle bar on a friday or saturday. Sports book is also very small. But nothing beats Rehab (Sunday Pool) in terms of sheer debauchery, check out movies and pics here...http://vegas.napkinnights.com/mov/ If you stay at Hard Rock you gain easy access to Rehab, otherwise the line starts at 5 am and you will be greasing the doorman for easy entry.

I'd say the #3 hotel is Venetian, primarily because Tao attracts the young and beautiful set. Went to Tao for dinner and club on Thursday (their industry night), and in my years of living and partying in Las Vegas, I have never seen so many beautiful women at the same place, and the ratio was even or plus women, which is a major bonus.

Something else to consider if you come after Labor Day...Luxor is losing the family freindly Egyptian theme and going all out adult party house. LAX opens labor day weekend and they are putting in no less than five new clubs/lounges.

Someone also mentioned Rio...Rio to me is no different than MGM or Mirage, or Treasure Island...pretty much the same mix. All are good but there are families and older folks mixed in. Caesars sucks now that it is a Harrah's property.

BTW, you are further from the heart of the strip at Mandalay Bay then you are at the Palms

Box, will you be going to any Florida football games this year? It looks like I will be at the Tenn, Auburn, and the Criminole games. We tailgate across the street from the Bullgator lot. Come on down! LT:103631605 :toast:
