cubs nite games

since the cubs are playing 25 nite games this year as opposed to the normal 18, are they going to shift in the coming years to playing mostly nite games instead of day games???

I cant imagein that happening. The neighborhood jsut wouldnt stand for it.

No, there will be big crowds regardless of the time the game is played. The local resisdents appear to like the afternoon games because it gets most of the crowd out of there before people get home from work. Cubs home games start at 1:20 normally which would have them end around 4:30. The stadium (as I am assuming you know) is located in a very residential neighborhood. Night games are more of an inconvenance to the locals.

Im assuming most of them are because those games were switched to nationally televised games. Other than that I have no idea. The city has fought them to keep games during the day forever, I dont know why it would change this year. Sorry, I wish I could be more help, but that is what I remember from when I lived there.

i have a business and i live a couple blocks from wrigley as well.
Our neighborhood is half and half

Either ya love it or ya hate it, More for traffic concerns if anything and noise level for the seniors
