Matt Murton is so bad. I hate him. How does he play? I understand his numbers in AAA are good, but Rosevelt Brown won the Pacific Coast Batting title and never mounted to shit in the big leagues. AAA is not the SHOW!!
With Floyd and Jones both left handed and not able to play vs left handers who do the Cubs have vs left handers? Murton = automatic out. Cedeno = automatic out. And the pitching spot automatic out. That is 3 out's everytime through the order you can take to the bank vs left handers.
I can handle Pagan b/c he is a switch hitter. The cubs have to get a right handed outfielder before tommorrow's deadline b/c if we (the cubs) run into anyone that can throw 2 or 3 lefties in a row vs us down the stretch we will not win in the playoffs and may not make it.
While I am on this rant, we could use one more guy out of the bullpen. Rocky Cherry, Shawn Gallagher, Bill Petrick, and Clay Rapada are not cutting it for the final spot in the bullpen. If we are going to carry 12 pitchers, we gotta get someone that can get somebody out. Scott Eyre is a liabilty as it is, so we cant have 2 liabilities.
