How it Works:
Correctly answer all three parts of next Friday's parlay along with any necessary tiebreakers and win the Grand Prize of $3,000 in cash to be presented at The Rx.com Bash 2007 Reception Dinner of the winner!
Parlay questions will include only MLB games.
How to Play:
1. Look for the Parlay-a-Day thread in the Offshore Forum.
2. Post your answers to all three questions (in this special case) and the tiebreaker.
3. Get all three correct and win any tiebreakers and you win the cash!
Tiebreaker:
1st tiebreaker will be posted at bottom of daily parlay.
2nd tiebreaker total post count as of Friday August 3rd at 7PM EDT.
Rules and Regulations:
• You must have 100 posts to enter. Rx.com Moderators are not eligible for prizes.
• You must plan to attend this year’s Rx Bash in Las Vegas - No proxies!
• In the event that a winner is unable to attend the Rx Bash, the prize amount will be revoked and put back into the prize pool.
• Only one entry per day per contest per poster. Multiple entries will result in the disqualification of all entries. (If more than one person from the same household wish to enter, contact wilheim@therx.com for advanced clearance.)

• In the unlikely event of a room shortage at the Bash, winning posters will automatically receive a comped room.

* All baseball is action. In the event of double headers scheduled after the daily thread is posted (games rained-out the day before and made up the next day as part of an unscheduled double header). The second scheduled game of the double header will be the one counted as part of the day’s parlay in order to avoid games being played before the contest closes for the day. The first game of the double header will not be part of the parlay regardless of starting pitchers. Rainouts count as a win for both sides. Totals count regardless of how many innings are played if the game is official. Hockey props graded on final score of game including all overtimes.
** Posters can only win once. In the event that a poster wins an early prize of a lower amount and later on wins a larger prize the lower prize is put back into the contest pool. Posters attending either Bash are eligible to win if they meet all other qualifications.

This is not a parlay - the tiebreaker goes to whichever poster has the best record picking the attendance from the five games selecting either an odd or even number of the official announced attendance by the MLB.com website game attendance figures..
The best record you can have is 5-0 and the worst record is 0-5 in the 1st. tiebreaker.
Ties after this tiebreaker go to the 2nd tiebreaker which is higest total post count as of 7PM EDT Friday August 3rd. Any posts made after that exact time will be deducted from post counts of anyone involved in this tiebreaker.
In the spirit of the contest if it is decided by The Rx.com Moderator Team that any contestants are trying to pad their post count between now and when the contest closes that poster will be disqualified. In other no frivilous or meaningless posts this week just to pad your post count. The decision of the moderators if a judgement on post quality becomes necessary is final. As a favor to the mods just post like you always do PLEASE.....

2nd Tiebreaker is post count. EG poster A has 877 posts as of 7PM EDT August 3rd and poster B has 953 posts as of 7PM EDT August 3rd then poster B wins the second tiebreaker and the contest.
In the incredibly and nearly impossible event that post counts are the same then the 3rd or provisional tiebreaker will be order of post. You all know how that works. I have to cover all the bases so to speak.
Reminder the rule about editing your post will be strictly enforced so please try to make sure you get your parlay right the first time. You can use the preview post function if you want to make sure everything is the way you want it.
Should your post have the edited by message underneath it you are disqualified also contestants that use a wrong game or odd/even number along side the team or attendance result will get the actual team or attendance result not the erroneous number they used in their post.
