Was expecting the Giants to be favored here. Lincecum has been awesome lately and the Dodgers bats haven't exactly done much lately.

Dodgers hitting last 5 games: .235 2nd behind the Nats as the coldest team in baseball LAST 5 GAMES..

Mark Hendrickson is beatable (4.58 ERA) and will likely only pitch 5 innings.

Why not take the young stud at +100?

any thoughts here?

im not getting involved with this game.
but to your point about the line -- yes, i was definitely expecting lincecum to be a chalk even if was only -115 or -120. it appears that lincecum has settled in and become the giants de facto ace. the one thing that annoys the shit out of me is how he can be prone to walks. i know his stats are 100 strikeouts / 40 walks, which isnt too bad, but hes a lot like kazmir in that he throws a lot of pitches and seems to be behind in a lot of counts. but his stuff is electric and he is really on a roll right now. hard not to consider backing frisco at even money in a game where they have a pretty big pitching edge. to me, hendrickson is a bum. he's a very, very poor man's chris young: tall, semi-finesse pitcher but nowhere near the deception of young.

They won last night against Penny so anything's possible! The only thing that worries me is that Lincecum is so young on the road he might be rattled.

I really like the over here. Combine Lincecum's tendency to walk people along with the history of Hendrickson to give up a number of runs and the number should be easy to hit. Hendrickson has looked way better this year then he ever has but has hit a road bump as of late. The Dodgers also seem to hit way better at home then on the road and they seem to want to walk Bonds which creates more opportunities for runs. Anyone else like this play?

Lincecum was devastating in the month of July. He throws up to a 97 mph fastball and has a great hook. Two teams playing in opposite directions here. The Giants have been making contact over the last two weeks in key at bats and hit Penny well last night and should do better against Hendrikson. They are 4-0 this year in L.A. They play well behind this kid and he has responded. The Dodgers looked very flat last night in their first game home after the road trip and now they face a complete change coming at them in Lincecum following Lowry, who was not nearly at his best. Played this last night, getting +105 from Skybook.
