2* Kansas City/Minnesota UNDER 9 -125
This line is going down to 8.5 at any minute, and I'm going to make sure I get it at an even 9. Brian Bannister is arguably the Royals best pitcher, as he brings his solid stuff to the ballpark almost every game. He has a season road ERA of 3.55, including a turf start as well where he went a 8 innings of no run ball. Boof Bonser comes off a terrible start in which he only lasted 2.2 innings @ Cleveland, but had a home start the game before in which he shutdown the Angels. I like Boof to baffle the Royals hitters tomorrow night, going 6+ solid innings. Twinkies win 5-3.
2* Cincinatti/Washington UNDER 8.5 -110
I really like this total for a few reasons. Bronson Arroyo has awful numbers on the year, but is more than capable of dominating this Nationals lineup. He has a start career wise against the Nats where he went an atrocious 2 IP with 6 earned runs. But his road ERA isn't bad at all, with a solid 3.70. John Lannan goes for Washington who had a rough debut @ Philadelphia. But it's amazing how young pitchers bounce back with a solid home debut start. Being in your home ballpark gives you all the confidence in the world. I think he goes a solid 6 innings here. Being a lefty helps against the big bats of Griffey/Dunn.
Good luck to all. May add something late...
