914 SDP / 913 ARI Over 8

Yesterday's game stayed beneath the number but we should see some more offense this evening. Owings has a poor 6.92 ERA and 1.769 WHIP his last three starts and he's got an even worse 7.23 ERA and 1.741 WHIP in eight road starts for the season. Meanwhile, Wells has an awful 10.13 ERA and 2.101 WHIP his last three starts. Wells has seen six of 10 career starts vs. Arizona finish above the number, including a 10-5 "slug-fest" most recently. Additionally, we find the "over" at a profitable 13-6 this season when the Padres have played a game with an over/under line of either eight or 8.5. Consider a play on the OVER

915 SFG (-105) vs 916 LOS

Bonds remained at 754 homers Tuesday, going 0-for-2 with two walks and a strikeout but the Giants beat the Dodgers 3-1, their fifth win in six games. Meanwhile, the Dodgers have lost three straight and nine of 13, following a season-high five-game winning streak. Bonds is just 1-for-9 with seven walks since moving within one of Aaron's mark on Friday night. Whether he gets any hits (or HRs) tonight, I'll back the Giants here, behind rookie Tim Lincecum. The 23-year-old is 6-2 with a 3.90 ERA in 15 starts (team is 8-7), going 4-0 with a 1.34 ERA in his last six starts (team is 5-1). He had been 0-2 with a 10.61 ERA in his previous four outings, before really "finding himself." Lincecum leads NL rookies with 100 strikeouts in 92.1 innings this season and is holding opponents to a .179 average in his past six starts. Lefty Mark Hendrickson goes for LA and he's 1-2 with a 7.00 ERA in his four July starts, lasting no longer than five innings in any of those outings. Take the Giants.

Marc Lawrence | MLB Money Line

908 ATL (-145) vs 907 HOU

Play On: Atlanta w/Carlyle vs Rodriguez
Note: Braves look to Buddy Carlyle in Game Two of this three game home set against Houston's Wandy Rodriguez this evening. With Rodriguez sporting a sky-high 7.43 road ERA this season, as opposed to a 1.76 ERA at home this year, and Cralyle in fine current form with 2 walks and 12 strikeouts in his last three home starts, look for the Astros to dip to 5-11 on Wednesdays here tonight.
