I'm talking about a decent return without much work or stress? What are the best investments these days? Thanks for the input.

how much did you have in Neteller?

Not a boat load but not a small amount either. It was a about 2.5 times the amount you had stuck.

Any suggestions as to what to do with it to make up for the chunk I gotta hand over to Uncle Sam?

was getting this money really unexpected? I know you must have had doubts like me, but I always figured about a 70% chance of getting our money.

I'm considering becoming a loan shark and lending money to desination, and also becoming a bookie and catering to the likes of insiders.

I thought you said without much work or stress?

I'd buy a vacation condo someplace that has a rental management service who keeps the place rented out and provides guest/maid service.

Rental income, zero work, go there yourself and relax anytime; and the place should appreciate in value should you ever want to sell it. That's no work and zero stress.

Perhaps someplace in Costa Rica (e.g. Los Sueños) or Panamá. You'd need mid-six figures. Return just via rental income may not be huge, but it's almost risk-free.

What's a decent return? You can get 5.05% by simply putting it in a online savings account. If you had $100,000 that be about $500 a month with no risk or stress at all.

Vanguard Prime Money Market, about 5.3% return. Can write checks on the account for over $250. Very easy, no stress, all done online.

What kind of liquidity do you need? If you can stomach not touching the money for some time (read: as long as possible) just stash it in a low-fee index fund (Vanguard, etc) ... guaranteed money long-term

the best way is never the easiest way

or

the easiest way is never the best way

but I'm willing to trade the information you are seeking, if you supply me with information on the following:

1. A 3 day diet so my wife can loose about 50lbs (diet also must boost her sex drive)

2. A pill that makes hot girls want to do me

or

3. A pill that makes ugly girls appear hot
