1. Direct TV
2. Cable
3. Dish Network

Cable and Dish network are close 2nd and 3rd.

But if you want sports, DTV is the only way to go.

I have had all the above as well as C-band sat and of course the old days of just rabbit ears.

If money and location were not an object I would go with C-Band due to the access you can get to EVERYTHING.
My second choice would be Direct TV and that would be for the sports.
You may also want to look into the FTA systems.

I just switched from DirecTV to Cable, because the Cable Company had a great package deal for TV, Internet & Phone all for like $99.

I miss the DirecTV. I might just pay the extra for the cable internet, and go back to DirecTV. It's the best for sports and trying to track multiple games at one time.

Does satellite have an "on demand" type thing? Cannot live without it and they DVR functionality of my cable box. Not broke don't fix it. Can also get all sports packages but NFL which I go to the bar and watch anyway.

I have only had one problem and that was a day with a Noah's Ark type rain. Just absolutely pouring and windy as a mother f*er. Thought California was experiencing a hurricane.
