perhaps, but if youre grooming a kid to be a middle of the lineup bat, it doesnt do any good to see if he can hit 6th or 7th. the whole point would be to see if he can drive in runs when guys in the 1-3 spots are getting on base for him. so far, he hasnt been able to. his AAA track record this year says he'll start hitting. so far, he hasnt done shit. but if you want to see if he can be an RBI guy, you have to hit him mid-order. trust me, im sure for someone on texas/over its gotta be frustrating to see him go 0-6 or 0-7 so far. but hitting .325 in AAA should at least afford him the benefit of the doubt over his first few games in the big leagues this season.
