just thought i'd add my two cents for today. there are several games i like today and i thought i'd share them with the rest of you.
white sox - i gave a synopsis of why i liked the white sox today, and i do think they will win handily. i would even take the reverse runline with white sox -1.5. yes, call me crazy!!!
devil rays - kazmir has been pitching well lately, giving up 4 ER in his last 4 starts while pitching at least 6 innings in those 4 starts against the red sox, orioles, angels, and yankees. i'd say that's some very good teams he's faced lately. look for kazmir to continue pitching well and silence the orioles bats.
braves - tim hudson. 'nough said. hudson has been steallar all season long. rockies are a hot team right now, having beaten up the last night. the braves have been on an offensive tear since making the trade for texeria, with last night being an exception. the braves had their chances, but did not capitolize. look for the braves to get on track tonight offensively. With their ace hudson goes on the moud, the braves are in the "win day" mode. what "win day" means is, ball clubs feel that when certain pitchers are on the mound, it is an automatic win for them. so they'll be playing loose and confident, as they expect to win.
phillies - hamels has been back to form and pitching lights out lately. the phillies offense got shut down by gallardo last night. bush is nowhere near as good as gallardo, and i look for a pissed off phillies team to take it out on the struggling dave bush. phillies will put up a ton of runs while the brewers will struggle to get 3 runs.
