Just seems to me that the Yanks could care less if Giambi comes back or not...they have Betemit playing first base now, and Mattingly and Bowa are spending alot of time with him according to what I have read...plus I think him Giambi talking to officials from MLB doesn't go over big with the players...just my gut reaction..

Very odd career...he was a late bloomer ,then was on top of the MLB world, got very ill, came back, now this...and he still could come back somewhere down the road.

betamit, phillips and duncan available at first. In the last month or so a glaring sore spot in their lineup has become a reason for optimism.

Betemit was a Brave favorite for a little bit while he replaced Chipper. Really solid player.

Roll Tribe! Jason Giambi's walk-off homer sends Cleveland Indians fans into joyful frenzy on social media
9/24/13

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Indians bandwagon is growing.
And it's thanks to Jason Giambi.
With the Indians trailing, 4-3, in the ninth inning with two outs, Giambi sent Progressive Field into a frenzy when he drove a ball deep into the right-field seats for a two-run game-winning homer.
And announcer Tom Hamilton's call of the homer has immediately become the stuff of legend (see Giambi's homer and hear the call below).
And happy Tribe fans quickly took to Twitter and other social media to celebrate the victory as the Indians remain in pursuit of a playoff spot.
Some fans might be late to the Tribe party ... but it appears it's beginning to really heat up. Are you pumped up about the Indians? Let us know in the comments below.

couldn't care less not could care less....

if you can care less than you care somewhat, call it a care factor of 1. if you couldn't care less then zero is less than one.
