How bad is Maroth?

wish he would at least start so we could know when to fade him. Its amazing to me how certain pitchers have just lost it over the last year or so. K Wells, Zito, Maroth, Contreas etc. Makes you wonder if steriods might have played a part with these guys.

Jennings, Kip Wells and Zito really suprised me. I thought all three of these guys were going to be around and solid for a long time.

I guess they still could. I expect Zito to become more Moyer like. He is a smart pitcher and smart lefties can stick around and be sucessful for a long time.
