For bznofx19, A valiant effort but no cigar
Poster "stump" is our Skybook MLB Head to Head Challenge Champion! What else can you say.. the guy is unbelievable. After going wire to wire in the NBA H2H Challenge back in the spring, he proceeded to sweep thru the 8 rounds of competition in the baseball challenge. In doing so, he amassed the highest weekly money total of the tourney with $1252 during the Round of 8! He hit on 88 of 141 plays for a blazing 62.4% winning percentage! Of course, a little luck didn't hurt at times... in 3 of those 8 rounds he actually ended up with a negative money total but it was still good enough to dispose of his opponent and move on. Sometimes in these head to head duels, it's better to be lucky than good. It's not who you play, it's WHEN you play them. As for runner up, bznofx19, it was a real nice effort. He started off the final round rather well, but then hit a brick wall and could never recover. From then on, the wheels pretty much came right off and it was time to throw in the towel. All in all, an enjoyable little tournament and I hope everyone who participated agrees. Finally, a big thanks to our sponsor Skybook for providing the prize money, a $100 Bonus Play to our winner.
