Glavine is 41. If Pettite can pitch 7 more years like Glavine then we are talking about 15 per year. That will be tough, especially since he has a history of Arm problems. But he is a Clemens prodigy so he may last longer than most think. And pitching for the yanks helps.

96 10 wins for the BOSOX and the said hit the road at the age of 34, with 194 career wins under his belt.

Nobody would have ever guessed when Clemens left Boston he would still be pitching today , or even close ...then again steroids became part of his regimen (more than likely)

I would have guessed 250 ... but J beat me to the punch. Probably because he knows his baseball and never signs off, but mostly because he never signs off ;)

It's all good ... I'm just green.

I little with envy over J's Ripkenesque posting streak, a little more with my de-hijacked NT funds and a little more because I ordered take out Egg Foo Young when it was 92 degrees strong in NY.

215 - WTF --???>##)#

Racked up his 195th win today, THE MAN HAS NEVER HAD A LOSING SEASON.

8-12-07:
With his 158th win as a Yankee, Pettitte passed Waite Hoyt for eighth on the club's career list.

notches #196

Pettitte gave up 1 run over 8 innings,he's now 6-1 in his last 8 starts.

Hard to believe a guy THAT HAS NEVER HAD A LOSING SEASON has barely a shot at 300, I'm rooting him on.

I am too...you opened my eyes a little on this ... long way to go but, if anyone left can get there he has to have as good a chance as anyone under 200 wins.

Your comparison to Clemens is a great one...nobody expected Roger to do much after he left Boston.

as a lifelong nyy fan, i personally could give 2 shits about how many wins he has. he is one of the greatest money players i can remember. down the stretch, in the postseason, this guys money in the bank. there are very few pitchers in history i'd rather have on the mound in october. that's all that counts to me. rings.:banger:
