Check out the earned runs. See that 2-1 score against Boston? That was IN FENWAY against J. Beckett.

The only concern I have with him is that his worst start of the season was against the Yankees.

I don't think he even got out of the first inning and gave up 5 earned runs.
Otherwise than that start he has been good.

I'm not a yanks fan so Ill be rooting for the Jays. Good luck on the play.

Be careful

I'm Taking Toronto And The Over...

The under is 7-1 between these two teams this year. Thanks for heads-up on the time. I'll play TOR SU and the under. Either way we'll make $$$ if the dog hunts. I expect the number to keep going up as the New York crowd starts banging in their wagers on their beloved Yanks, so I am going to wait until about noon to drop mine in.

Last 10 v LHP down a bit to .270 seems to have leveled out to a similar avg as RHP. - maybe a change in lineup??

My lean was the under and so far I'm still on it. I'd like to start this week off with an early Winner!

I'm sure by game time we will have a winner or winners narrowed down.

You are looking at the wrong numbers.
Look at what Litsch did his last start against NY
.2 innings and gave up 5 runs...
Only a fool would bet Toronto in this game
Enough said.

That game was in Yankee Stadium and since then he has been a different pitcher. Tonight he has a home crowd behind him that, although not very vocal, hates the Yankees as much as any team except the RedSox. Plus Toronto has some momentum lately (like the Yanks), and they play in their stadium better than the Yanks have played the road this year by a longshot!

Blue Jays have won 8 in a row at home, club record is 10 and they are gunning for it. The players know about the record. Also, check out this clip from Yahoo Sports:

"The Yankees have won six of their last seven games and 18 of 25 since the All-Star break, although this will be their first series against a winning team after the break."

They've been on a tear....against shitty teams. Welcome to Toronto, Matsui and A-Rod. Goodnight.
