Even though they are 9 games under .500 they pay enough to offset that.

if you would have bet on them every game it would have taken brass balls, at times, early on anyway, this team looked 100% AAA, not major league

And they're +200 or so against a bad Giants team again tonight.

Yeah, I understand why and wouldn't be surprised to see Lincecum put up a solid performance, but seeing them as 2-1 favorites still makes me laugh.

Because of the type of bets I make I have bet for them to against them at a ratio of 10 to 1 so far this year in my estimation. Just never realizied how profitable it has been.

Manny Acta should get Manager of the Year. To get this team this close to .500 is nothing short of a miracle.

Just becareful on the nats tonight. Teams traveling cross country with or without a day of rest have not fared well on the opposite coast for game one. I have been betting against the traveling team blindly this season on the ML and RL. These have been hitting at a very high percentage the last 2-3 months. Just a heads up. Even teams traveling through 2 time zones have struggled game one. Not sure why these traveling teams have done so bad game one. Even if the home team had to do the traveling while the road team was on the correct coast I would fade the home team then. This is not a automatic play on either the road or home team. Just the team that has the long haul.

Also, the Nats have a rookie pitcher, in his third start going tonight.
His road debut was a little rough. Maybe he'll re-enact the Chase Utley at bat when Bonds is up tonight...

I still think Bowden should have cashed in Cordero...

Also...

Just think where this club would be right now had Bowden traded Soriano last July...and received top prospects in return, there were several clubs interested...that was a mistake on his part as well. There was no way the Nationals were going to come close on that money.
